Kayla trained at the Royal Academy of Music (MA Musical Theatre).

Her theatre credits include Faith in the world premiere of Military Wives (York Theatre Royal); Tina/Cover Deloris and Mary Robert in Sister Act (Australian Tour); originating the role of Bonnie in I Should Be So Lucky (UK & Ireland Tour); Alternate Doris/1st Cover Sofia in The Color Purple (Curve/Birmingham Hippodrome & UK Tour); the original cast of Bedknobs and Broomsticks (UK & Ireland Tour); Rent (Hope Mill Theatre); Refresh(Underbelly Festival); and The Limit (VAULT Festival).

Workshop credits include Shirley (Jonathan Church Theatre Productions), Military Wives (Dominion Gallery), Lovestruck(Unicorn Theatre), Jubilee (Old Vic), SuperYou (All Awesome LCC), Prom Fever(Mirrorball Films), Fangirls (Sonia Friedman Productions), and I Should Be So Lucky (ATG).

Television appearances include Pat in Kinky Boots for ITV’s Royal Variety Performance and Bonnie in I Should Be So Lucky for BBC’s Children in Need.
